The Simba Hybrid Essential is 20cm deep and contains all the Simba patented sleep tech that made Simba the world's most five star reviewed mattress brand. The four layers of the Hybrid® Essential are:

Open Cell Graphite Infused Simbatex Foam
This super comfort layer has a cooling graphite infusion that draws heat downwards (away from your body) and delivers gentle support. Delivering 30 times the airflow of regular memory foam by being highly open cell. Proven to wick away moisture and dissipate heat significantly quicker than leading visco-elastic mattresses. These micro springs help prevent overheating by increasing air circulation. They flex gently in response to you and your partner's every movement, and as they compress and extend, they gently circulate air through the comfort layer helping to keep you at the perfect temperature.

Open Cell Graphite Infused Simbatex Foam
This layer uses an open cell foam, that allows thirty times the airflow of memory foam. On top of that, Simba have infused it with a naturally occurring mineral called graphite; that draws heat away from your body.

Aerocoil Spring Layer
The mattress features up to 2,500 unique conical pocket springs. They individually adjust as you sleep, so you wake up with a spring in your step for the whole day. Edge to Edge Support Foam

The Simba Aerocoil® microspring comfort layer
Up to 1,500 conical springs work together to distribute weight whenever they feel pressure. They are smaller and slimmer than the regular tall chunky bed springs, and because they are made of super-strong Titanium alloy (manufactured here in Leeds), this magic metal means even a micro size (25mm high with a thickness gauge of 0.9mm, which is the size of a very thin paperclip) gives you the support you need, but being so small and fine you won't feel a single one. A 500gsm hypoallergenic breathable sleep surface that provides freshness and temperature control. You can remove this top cover, and it can be washed at 40°C. Using a mattress protector could help extend the life of your mattress. The mattress has up to four convenient handles allowing you to rotate or move your mattress with ease.

A 500g super soft, hand-knitted cover; this hypoallergenic sleep surface keeps your mattress fresh and cool. The cover is not removable or washable but you can spot clean it if you choose not to use a Simba Mattress Protector.
