The Una Essential has individualised adjustable comfort. Two firmnesses are available on each side of the mattress! Simply unzip the cover, and swap the medium and medium-soft latex comfort layers to adjust the firmness. You decide your comfiest firmness by having either the medium or medium-soft layer on top.

The Una Mattress™ Organic Mattress Essential is more affordable than the Delux but with a similar construction. The three layers of the Una Essential are:

• Super Soft Organic Wool & Cotton Cover
• Organic Latex
• Medium Organic Latex (Density 85 kg/m3)
• Medium-Soft Organic Latex (Density 75 kg/m3).

Altogether the layers total 15cm of luxurious Dunlop™ natural latex.

100% organic certified materials mean you can relax without a care. The comfy latex is harvested and refined from the milk-like sap of a rubber tree called Hevea Brasiliensis, without adding smelly petrochemicals. The processing of latex mattresses actually encourages tree growth and is extremely sustainable. This process encourages the healthy growth of rubber trees as they can be tapped for up to 30 years. The natural soft organic wool and cotton cover replaces the need for fire-retardant chemicals, so you can breathe easy right from the first night.

The Una Organic Essential is made with the finest natural materials on the market, is carbon neutral and organic certified, making this sustainable mattress extremely comfortable without those chemical nasties.

Organic Comfort Layers
Natural latex foam has an open-cell structure to permit constant airflow allowing you to sleep cool. Latex is also naturally antimicrobial, meaning it repels nasty organisms, making latex an excellent choice for people with allergies.

Designed with two comfortable layers of all-natural organic certified latex foam - medium, and medium-soft. Each layer has 7 zones that gently support your body's contours helping to keep your spine aligned. The firmest foam density is in the pelvic zone where most of body weight is and a softer more gently support for the head, neck and shoulder as well as our knees, legs and feet. Each side can support individuals up to 85kg (or 14 stones). If you're heavier that this, you'll need the extra 7.5cm comfort layer of the Una Organic Delux which will give you the extra support. Natural latex mattresses are renowned for their long-term durability, although the warranty is 10 years, it is very likely your mattress could last 15 to 20 years.

Super Soft Organic Wool & Cotton Cover
This GOTS-certified organic fabric allows air and moisture to circulate naturally and is made of 70% organic cotton and 30% organic wool. The YKK premium zipper (yes this is the brand you find on all premium products) allows easy access to the latex layers beneath for easy adjustability. The cover whilst removable, it is recommended to spot clean and not machine-wash to avoid shrinkage.
